AI Conversations Accessibility Mode

What is Accessibility Mode?

Accessibility Mode in AI Conversations is a feature designed to make conversations more inclusive and user-friendly for individuals with specific accessibility needs. It removes the conversation timer and replaces it with a character and word count limit, creating a more relaxed and accessible interaction experience.

Why use Accessibility Mode?

  • No timer: Users can take as much time as they need to read and respond, removing time-related pressures.

  • Character and word limit: Responses are limited by character and word count rather than time, offering structure while maintaining accessibility.

  • Automatic activation for inclusivity: Accessibility Mode adapts automatically based on user device settings.

How to enable Accessibility Mode

  1. Automatic activation:

    • Accessibility Mode is enabled by default if:
      • A screen reader is active.
      • Reduced motion settings are enabled on the user's device.

  2. Manual activation:

    • As stated in the instruction panel on the left of each scenario, users can also press the TAB key to enable Accessibility Mode manually.

  3. Disabling Accessibility Mode:

    • Click the Accessibility Icon in the interface to disable the mode at any time.
