Direct Resource URLs

This link provides learners with direct access to the resource, rather than having to launch the resource from inside an object. This allows administrators to surface a static link to the resource from anywhere inside LXP. 

Using xAPI completion, the object can be marked complete regardless of which resource was chosen by the learner.

 

Example use cases:

1. If you have different versions of content in various languages you could provide links to all of the versions in one object rather than having to create multiple objects.
2. You want to promote a specific resource, e.g. AI Coach, from the Content Block.

How to obtain a Direct Resource URL: 

1. Login as admin
2. Go to Resources page 
3. Find your Resource 
4. Click the link icon next to the Resource name
5. Click the 'Copy' icon next to the Resource URL
6. Paste your URL wherever you need it, e.g. in your Content Block from one of our templates
