Using the Off-The-Shelf Access Course Selection Tool

The Off-The-Shelf Access Course Selection Tool provides Adaptive editors with direct access to courses in the off-the-shelf library and allows users to immediately start editing.

 

How to use the tool

1. Click the + Create New Course button

2. Use the wizard to guide you through selecting a course, translations, and customization options.  

3. Confirm your selections and click the Create Course button

4. Click the Back To Course List button to return to the course list dashboard or Create Another Course to make another selection

5. To start editing your course, select your course from the course list in the main dashboard

• When you open your course, please answer the question in the modal window

         

• If you select Yes > SEND REQUEST:
  • After clicking the Send Request button, you can start editing your course right away. 

  • Sending the request for approval will notify our internal teams to begin confirming your course requirements and to remove the translation/publishing restriction.
• If you select No/I'm not sure > OK, GOT IT!

  • After clicking the No/I'm not sure button, you can start editing your course right away. 

  • Selecting No/I'm not sure will not notify our internal teams and the translation process and publishing will remain restricted until you submit a request for approval. A modal will appear whenever you attempt to translate or publish the course.
