Notifications sent by events (legacy functionality)

This page refers to legacy Event Management. Please refer to the new Events pages for the most up-to-date functionality within your organisation.

Prerequisites: If event management is not available to you, contact support@learningpool.com or talk to your account manager to discuss getting it switched on.

Events send various email notifications learners. Below you can see when each one is sent, who it’s sent to, and what it contains.

This can be done in the same place that you registered.

Event booking date/ time changed	Occurs when event session dates have changed. Event Booking Cancellation	Occurs when a user booking is cancelled. Waitlisting advice	Occurs when a learner is waitlisted on an event	Learners on waitlist	Subject Line: You are now on the waitlist for [facetofacename], [eventperiod] Text: Hi [firstname], You have been added to the waitlist for the following event within [facetofacename]: Location(s): [#sessions] Location: [session:room:name] [/sessions] *Please note this is not a course booking confirmation* By waitlisting you have registered your interest in this course and will be contacted directly when a space becomes available. To remove yourself from this waitlist please return to where you registered and click cancel your request. Please note there is no waitlist removal confirmation email.
