Setting up a pie visualisation

Pie visualisations are great for comparing quantities of simple numerical data.

 

Configuring your pie axes

In the AXES tab, you can select how you want your data to be grouped using Group by (e.g. person, month etc.), select how you want your data to be counted using Count (e.g. total unique number of) and select what section of each xAPI statement you want to count (e.g. statements, people etc.).

Each series added to a pie will display in a different colour:

Donut chart 

In the OPTIONS tab there is a toggle to enable the donut chart. This presents the same information in a slightly different format, transforming your visualisation from a pie to a donut:
